Your Privacy, My Promise

What you share with me stays with me, with two rare exceptions I'll spell out below.

I will never share your name, your story, or any details about our work together with anyone outside our sessions unless you give me specific written permission. Not your family. Not mutual friends. Not anyone.

Alaska is a small world, and I know it. If we cross paths out in the wild, I will not acknowledge you first. That choice is always yours. If you say hi, I'll say hi back. If you walk on by, so will I. No awkwardness, no weirdness, no story to tell.

I'm a hypnotherapist and mindset coach, not a medical provider, so HIPAA doesn't apply here. That doesn't make your privacy matter any less to me. I hold what you share with the same respect and discretion I'd want for myself.

Your records. I keep brief session notes and your form answers in a private, password-protected account. I use them only to prepare for and continue our work. Once we're done working together, you can ask me to delete them.

The two exceptions. If I had a genuine concern about your safety or someone else's, or if I were required to respond to a legal order. Those situations are rare, and I want you to know about them upfront.

The Nature of This Work

Hypnotherapy and NLP are complementary, non-medical approaches. I am not a physician, psychologist, or licensed mental health provider, and nothing we do together should be considered medical or psychological treatment or a substitute for it.

What I do is work with your mind, your patterns, your beliefs, and your inner narrative, to help you create shifts that you choose and direct. It's powerful work, and it's personal growth work. It lives in a different lane than medicine, and that lane has its own kind of value.

You stay in control. In hypnosis, you remain aware the whole time. You'll hear everything, and you can open your eyes and stop at any point. Nothing happens that you don't want to happen.

If you're working with a doctor, therapist, or other healthcare provider, I encourage you to continue that relationship. Our work can run alongside it.

Results from hypnotherapy and NLP are not guaranteed. Your outcomes depend largely on your own openness, participation, and readiness to change. I will bring everything I have to every session. The work, ultimately, is yours.

If something comes up in our sessions that needs clinical support beyond what I offer, I'll tell you honestly and may refer you to someone better suited for that piece. That isn't a failure of the process. It's the process working exactly as it should.

Recordings

If I record part of your session for you to practice with, it's for your personal use only. Never listen to a hypnosis recording while driving or doing anything that needs your full attention.

Scheduling

Life happens, so if you need to change your time, just let me know and we'll find a new one. I'm flexible with last-minute changes. If they start happening often, we'll talk about what's getting in the way. If I ever need to cancel, we'll find a new time, or I'll refund anything you've paid ahead, your choice.
